I'd love to visit these kinds of festivals. I'm from Florence, and for me it would be like visiting a festival in Palermo, Naples, or Trieste… food different from my own, but with an Italian spirit. Beautiful.
The San Gennaro feast is an Italian success story. Look at how many people it draws year after year … that alone speaks volumes. To the critics, the feast is American in style with Italian roots. Accept it for what it is. Bravo to the boys of GUI who bring added attention to it. 💪 💪
