just wanted to say, that place you visited in dallas near the tollway, that was like down the road I grew up from, and I actually remembered the whataburger etc. and it tripped me out because you were down the street from where I grew up!

Hard 8 brisket is some of the blandest in the state. What you tasted was is how it’s made all the time. Ribs do have a great taste in them, but sometimes they can also be a little dry. Next time you in town, you have to go up to Hutchins barbecue in Frisco. When you go, just tell me you know me and dessert is on me all you can eat. 😉

That Guava ravioli is inspired in one of brazilian's most famous desert: "Romeo and Juliet", guava sweets with slices of cheese. Its amazing!

Italian/Brazilian seems like an amazing combo, and lucky for me I live not too far away and will try this place soon.
That said, I see their strategy with all the bread and cheese coming out first…but even the fillers look top notch quality and I may not care if I don't have much stomach room for meat. 😂

Commenting from DFW. Hard Eight is toward the bottom of the metros top 20 bbq places. It wasn't the timing, they always have that texture with the smoked meats.
