  1. Forgot to mention this in the video, but anyone else think the dessert prices at Major Food Group restaurants are insane even for NYC standards!?

  2. You guys need to add some background music to your videos. Seems to be the one thing missing vs other channels that do similar things

  3. Carbone is, IMO, a joke. Torrisi is a much better restaurant. It was always the best restaurant in their restaurant group. At the original restaurant you could get a tasting menu for under $100, maybe $75? Miss that 🙁

  4. I realize that you guys have consistently the some of the best description of food on Youtube. You guys describe things in great detail without sounding pretentious or reading a script. Keep up the great work!

  5. Bread service is perhaps the most important part of any restaurant experience. It shocks me how many “high end” restaurants still use bread rolls from food service companies like Sysco. Flavorless and usually stale. 💫

  6. First time viewer, and very much enjoyed it. I’ve been to Torrisi a number of times, and I agree with pretty much all of what you said. Since I go solo I can avoid the crazy reservation system by showing up late in the evening. It’s expensive, but the food is very good: I love the bread and butter, and I was also surprised by how delicious the tortellini were. The cavatelli and the duck are also very good. I agree with Will when it comes to the affogato. The restaurant seems quite proud of it, but it doesn’t really do much for me. I sit at the bar, and the bartenders couldn’t be nicer. The service is actually one of the reasons why I’m a repeat customer.
Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

  7. This I had to eat at the bar at 10pm cos I couldn't get a reservation. Bartender recommend dishes and it was great . Great review

  8. Really enjoyable video, you describe the food and experience really well. Not like every other youtuber that goes: "omg, this might literally be the best …. I've ever had in my entire life" and just leave it at that :D.

  9. I don’t trust that the two of you are true foodies . I question your palettes , especially Will , because you always have a complaint . You probably have no clue what it takes to be creative in a restaurant, in a NYC no less, and must not realize the vision from
Someone like Rich Torissi. Lastly , the “ice” you referred to is called a granita .

  10. so glad i came across your videos. — I see these places online and used to live outside the city so always intrigued but now I feel like I'm actually there thanks to you guys 🙂 is it me or does will look like adam sandlers? thanks for sharing with us!

  11. Food looked fresh and delicious. This is just me but why do some restaurants give you uneven numbers when they know an entree' is going to be shared. They only gave 7 tortellini.

  12. Hi from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺. Found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching since. Love you both. Your honest reviews and manner you deliver comments is wonderful. Special mention, you both dress immaculately ❤❤❤

  13. Kristin are you Italian like Will? I was wondering since you review a lot of Italian restaurants, but don't often discuss your ethnic traditions.
