What happened to the neighbor has always disgusted me. Honestly, I felt bad for the neighbor. Gee, I wonder why he didn't come and offer an apology. The man was horrified by what happened let alone knowing very well what was going to happen as a repercussion. What both parents did to that neighbor was horrible. Knowing you killed a child accidentally would have been hell enough. His life, wife and children mattered too. That was no way to "honor" the life/dealth of your sweet little boy.
