I gave up processed food & sugar, no more food noise!!
I went to an anti-inflammatory eating plan 2+ years ago. What I eat is very similar to a classic Mediterranean Diet except that I intentionally add foods with anti-inflammatory properties and foods containing antioxidants. I try to eat some of these every day.
But I started by replacing sugar and ultra processed foods with real foods. In the process of doing that, I got rid of the salad dressings and used extra virgin olive oil and vinegar instead.
Salmon is part of my anti-inflammatory eating plan anyway.
But I'm always interested in learning more about a classic Mediterranean Diet and tips and tricks for it.
Hello, I really appreciated that you said you like to show people how to put meals or foods together. That is one of the most confusing things to do is putting a diet together. So really want to thank you for doing that. I am starting this way of eating due to health reasons and I really like eating Mediterranean style foods. I have recently stopped buying store bought salad dressings, and make my own using just vinegar, like plain rice wine vinegar with no sugar added, its not to pungent, more gentle on my palate. Then I add olive oil or avocado oil, salt and pepper, and that’s it. Really love such a simple dressing. I am open to trying different ingredients to add to my salad dressings to give it a different flavor. So thanks again for giving us authentic Mediterranean recipes to choose from.
