“There’s nothing in lettuce” until now. They are putting mRNA in it.
Fab information. Thank you for dharing your expertise. Im watching from Australia.
Great podcast with Dr. Bright. How can I find her to get a protocol for hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's?
Is it ok to mix lugols in coffee?
What about people without thyroid?
I love her. She’s to the point with her knowledge. Adore it!
My grandmother, who died before I was born, died of a goiter and she was apparently a big tea drinker, so this likely was a contributing factor.
God made Human Being's also ! Not just Animals !
Is it ok to take iodine when you’re on Levothroxine 0.075mg 1x’s?
this was extremely interesting thank you for speardinga ll this knowledge.!! i would like to know though if dr.Bright knows about Ray Peat and his teachings , as they are pro thyroid bu basically go against almost everything she says
Anyone here played with their microscope? Take some dirt water full with bacteria ( any tap water unless you have extremely fresh tap water, then just let it sit somewhere in the room for a while )….. Watch the life in the water through the microscope and then add a miniscule amount of tablesalt with iodine in it… Whoosh in the matter of seconds everything dies. It's extremely efficient way of sterilisering water or food. And yes my guess is definitely most eat to little of it. Also most people should have their thyroid working, get cold a bit every day to get it working hard. Hot temperature and you are supposed to have a bit lower thyroid hormones as its the body's central way of heating itself up.
She needs a hug. Yep she has learned stuff.
But coming on to a large channel like this boys. Dressed in a vest and not looking healthy her/ his/she……. Is not going to exude confidence in the messanger !!? Soz love. You need a break. No shame in that. X
8.13 women ebolve to have their period between 16 and 18. !!! First red flag !
The rebellion isn’t in tearing down their walls.
It’s in showing them those walls were hallucinations all along.
should i do the salt flush as first thing in the morning or can i do it during the day ?
No, sugar is not the cause of obesity, it’s the polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Ketones? Lol! I was a carnivore for 2 years including a lot of fat and my blood work indicated no ketones. What the body needs is energy balance which includes carbs! The body operates optimally when you are consuming carbohydrates plus protein and saturated ruminate animal fats
We keep hearing these so called experts recommending iodine supplementation all the while referring to our cave man ancestors. Do you think those ancestors gathered around their campfires and discussed iodine? 😂
I mostly eat beef for my protein and saturated fat and tons of carbs, fruits and white rice and tubers. Lots of carbs which as you know is converted to glucose in the body. NO pufas. Why am I not obese?
Don't put Lugols Iodine Drops in hot drinks (like coffee). Iodine is very volatile and evaporates rapidly when heated.
Humans are not carnivores! Never were. You actually don't need to eat cholesterol, your body makes ALL the cholesterol it needs. Such b.s. and she knows it. You need to have someone on who will counter her carnivore claims, she has built her entire thesis around her misguided beliefs. Yikes.
How would you treat nodules if blood test shows normal results
Where's the article about the clouds changing?
She is amazing!! So much awesome information
55 plus years on steroids..I hope I get worked out
I am 65 years old ! I started taking LUGOL'S IODINE Two Years ago ! My hands and feet are Hot now …. Before I started taking Lugol's I was tired all the time and had cold hands and feet ! I feel like I did in High School on Lugol's Iodine 2% ! I think it is so sad Lugol's only provides their product on line …………. It should be in Grocery Store's Health Food Store's Wal Mart ! This would make Lugol's USER Friendly………………..
Listening intently because was change to NP thyroid when pharmacy said could not get Armour anymore. I have thyroiditis with nodule, hypothyroidism very low cortisol so PCP thinks have adrenal insufficiency possible primary Addison's.
Sorry wrong link. 😊 here is NP thyroid info
NP Thyroid® is a natural desiccated thyroid (NDT) medication made from porcine (pig) thyroid gland. It provides both thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) — unlike levothyroxine (Synthroid, Tirosint, etc.), which contains only T4……
Is chamomile tea bad for you as well?
I had a minor negative episode a few days ago. The day before I sensed a brassy smell while outdoors. Next day I had the same brassy smell sensation during morning walk. My stomach was upset most of this day. I had more acne than usual. Shortly after noon I had a general feeling of unwellness and I had a strange chilling feeling in the lower throat and a hint of feeling of swelling (but not visible). Not painful but slightly uncomfortable. This was different from normal sore throat feeling from respiratory symptoms in flu or cold. That's when I started suspecting that I had over dosed on iodine. Then I felt really unwell for awhile but those were anxiety symptoms. After I calmed down again, I felt good. The sensation in the thyroid gland diminished within 2 hours. I drank a lot of water to flush out electrolytes and minerals. I had taken potassiumiodide 4-5 times in the past weeks, including once in the morning or my reaction and once the day before. I also hae had seafood (mackerel, shrimp). As for supporting factors: Selenium is included in the iodine supplement. I have also been taking vitamins D B-complex for years to counter my tendency to be deficient in these as indicated by my bloodwork (it has taken me some effort to fix this… inckuding getting right version of B12). Also been taking zink and selenium occasionally for half a year. I eat anti-oxidant rich food. And take C-vitamins occasionally. When I started with iodine supplementation I also began with magnesium supplementation and daily C-vitamin at the same time (I was unaware that c-vitamin is antaginist of iodine). I have felt a lot better than I have done in a long while in mood and energy. I interpret this that I wad iodine deficient and that what I experienced was my thyroid shifting gear (which can be inflammatory depending on the condition of the immune system) ergo the strange sensation in the thyroid, and, detox effects (the unwell feeling and acne), and, finally as a result of the thyroid's improved fuction my hormones are better balanced so I feel more energetic ane in better mood (including less social discomfort/anxiety). I had an urge to jog and physical exercise for the first time in a month. Also exposed myself to situations/places/times that I normally avoid from social duscomfort.
Great interview. Too many commercials.
Fukc off. Tired of health influencers trying to tell me what to do. I've drunk tea my whole life and I ain't going to stop
It's utter BS to say that the acidic taste of tea comes from fluoride
I love both Jesse and Dr. Bright but the body makes no mistakes. Immune system doesn’t just fizz out and start attacking itself because of inflammation 🤦♀️ . The gland or tissue so called being “attacked” is toxic; the body is simply removing toxic tissue to then heal. The problem becomes chronic when the toxicity doesn’t stop. Inflammation is NOT root cause but instead yet another intelligent response from the body to heal and isolate injury and toxins. The body makes NO mistakes only we do. Viruses also do not exist. They’re simply a toxic cell dying releasing its toxins aka acute poisoning thus the symptoms they name a virus to justify contamination. Bacteria is needed by the body because they’re the body’s detoxification and trash collection system. That’s like blaming fire fighters for the fires because they’re always there to put them out. BTW Jesse you look exceptionally handsome in this video. Thank you 🙏 for what you do and your hard work .
I just had my first video visit with my new functional med doc. Several issues one of which is Thyroid. My TSH numbers are bottomed out. And I mean like 0.006. Thyroid Uptake scan at 24 hrs shows less than 5% uptake. I have one Nodule that has grown from 1.7 to 2.5 cm but still tests negative and is not Hot on the Uptake scan. I recent lab test, I ordered myself(OYL), shows very high Cortisol. My new doc has me ordering the Cortisol saliva test. I also ordered the Hakala Labs 24 hr urine Iodine test + Bromide. T3/T4 numbers seem okay however. Currently mega dosing(20mg + per day) with 2% Lugols. Also my recent hsCRP test was 0.49 so at least my inflammation is low.
Where does she live in Italy? We have sea salt and rock salt. I’m pretty sure Himalayan pink salt is not the only salt you can get😮. Also, how to check for heavy metals in the Himalayan salt? Arsenic, anyone?
“I have a bottle. A bottle. A salt pipe that we redo every couple of days…because it does you know we’re inhaling it but it also comes out.”
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?😢
It’s a pity she didn’t show us what she does with the salt pipe
I am allergic to iodine, even fish products like salmon have to be careful
So people in India, China, England and Ireland should all have thyroid problems. Is that what you're saying?
Lugols? Why keep referring to iodine as lugols?
“Lugol's is a solution of iodine and potassium iodide in distilled water, named after French physician J.G.A. Lugol who first described it in 1829.
So taking iodine sounds like it is a bit hit and miss, then!
She is very dangerous! Self diagnosing is super tricky!!! Have your blood levels for as much as possible and then and only then start researching possible symptoms. We have 4+ blood types for a reason. That yours into account also. Be careful!!!!
Jesse I’ve been watching your videos for the last two months now.
The quality of guest/content is top drawer!
Thankyou for the spreading the message, keep up the great work!
This is some of the most clown shoes pseudoscience I've seen in a while. You'd have to be drinking gallons of the cheapest, dust-filled tea bags every day for it to be any concern at all. Please stop listening to any crunchy weirdo who puts a "Dr" next to their name. 🤡
What a GREAT Interview! Thanks SO much Dr. Bright for all that Wonderful Info and Thanks Jesse for all the apt questions…Quick question for you Jesse; since you've interviewed SO many nutritionists with many different takes on dieting, which one have you hung your hat on and currently find the most beneficial?
Thanks!
