I like Prosecco.
I love having a Spritz before dinner when I go out!
A Spritz is a must-have in Venezia, but not only on Saint Mark's Square. ❤
I am not sure if spritz is available here, Noticed that the palette and preferences of the Venetian and other Italians, even Australian and Californians is towards sweet or fruit burst (bomb). In fact I too love the sweeter leaning style.. having grown up on Port, However there is a stance of the wine producers and most of the sommeliers are pure disdain for the word sweet. It is almost as if you have abused or caused some sacrilege. My friend: Monkey see; Monkey do.. But I am no monkey. I don't and cant follow the crowd. just to appear to e a wine connoisseur, I need to be true to my palette , On what I want and not what I think the world wants 🙂 Right.. Thoughts pls. (should a person follow the herd or risk ridicule and do what is best for him /her.)
So all your posts on sweeter styles are most welcome.
