Tuscany in fall is one of the most magical times to experience Italy. From golden vineyards in Chianti to the aroma of truffle season and the first press of new olive oil, Tuscany in autumn offers travelers unforgettable flavors, landscapes, and traditions. Discover the highlights of Tuscany in September during the vibrant wine harvest, explore Tuscany in October with its truffle festivals and olive oil tastings, and embrace the quieter charm of Tuscany in November. As the founder of a travel agency in Italy, I’ve seen firsthand how Tuscany fall travel has become the most requested season. Boutique hotels, truffle hunts, vineyard tours, and olive oil tastings often book months in advance. That’s why this guide also includes essential Tuscany fall travel tips to help you secure the best experiences before they’re gone.

Watch until the end for expert advice on where to stay, what to pack, and how to enjoy the slower rhythm of Tuscany countryside life in autumn.

  2. The early vloggers kept saying go in October. Now it’s too busy. For longer stays, we’ve been going to Florence mid-January and February. A little chilly but the sun usually shines and tourist traffic is ‘light’

  3. Great video. I love Tuscany. There are so many beautiful areas. There is tons of history throughout Italy, but Florence is a special gem. The countryside is so beautiful. I was amazed seeing the lemon trees. So cool! Thanks much for sharing.❤🥰

  6. Hello fabulous, it's me again. The solo traveler from the U.S. with whom you arranged for me to purchase the weaved leather wristlet bag. I absolutely love your blouse. As always, I am taking in all of your valuable expertise!

  7. Hi! I enjoy all of your videos! My husband and I are planning a trip to Italy in October to visit our son during his study abroad. We plan to visit Venice, Como, Florence and Rome. I hope you have time for 2 recommendations. I have a strong passion for boots 😂. Do you have a non tourist shop that you could recommend to purchase a pair of leather boots? And second, any great local restaurants that are a must visit? Thank you for any suggestions! Have a wonderful day!
