The papahs tried all sorts of delicious Indian dishes like samosas, chutney, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Lamb Vindaloo, Roti, Goat Biryani, raita, Shrimp Korma, tandoori chicken, Shrimp coconut masala, strawberry lassi, gulab jamun, chai! According to Rainforestcruises.com “Traditional Indian food is renowned worldwide for its wonderful use of herbs and spices, and its diverse range of deep-fried snacks, pastries, curries, gravies, sauces, rice dishes, tandoor-cooked meats, vegetable dishes, chutneys, breads and sweets.”

  1. Not all Indian food is spicy. We have mild dishes as well, kofta curry, Palak paneer. It depends on what you want to try.

  2. In college the food court had an indian place and a Mexican place. The indians said the indian food was awful and the Mexican place was totally legit: old mexican women making tortillas by hand one after the other. Thered be a line of 20 or 30 students, at least half Indian. Refried beans and tortillas was as close as they could get to Indian home style food.

  3. There are so many similarities between Indians and mexicans

    The spices, both use coriander, tamarind chilled and tomatoes a lot
    Indian has an unrefined sugar called jaggery (gaur) made from cane sugar and Mexicans have something that looks so similar called panela which is from evaporated cane juice. They are both soft and have a caramelly taste and look.
