It’s always a great time to visit wine country in California. But one of my favorite times to visit Napa Valley is in November. You’ll get to see the leaves falling and the changing colors will definitely take your breath away!
A couple restaurants to check out include Matheson in Healdsburg which has this dynamic almost 90 bottle wine wall! You can choose to have a slash, half or full glass of wine. Bottega in Yountville has this spaghetti named after Sophia Loren. The owner created this simple pasta dish for the Italian actresses birthday and she loved it so much it’s now on the menu for everyone to try! Everything we ate was delicious including the branzino, polenta, and brussels sprout salad.
With so many wineries and vineyards to pick from, Quintessa stands out from the rest offering a Cab that will knock your socks off. It’s organic and biodynamic. Just a few miles away is Caymus which is celebrating its 50th anniversary! The architecture at Dariush inspired by Persepolis is spectacular and so is their wine. Oakville has some exceptional wines including Silver Oak!
