  1. They can do whatever they want with billionaires… But they really should also focus on fixing the tax system so that new Italian businesses are not smothered in their crib (and the middle class, too), and increase housing offer to drive down the prices since the demand is so high in cities compared to what's available.

  3. Ok ok we kept secrets. yes its better here. Most things are. We pretended to have problems knowing we're better off but guys it's not sustainable and wherever you've gone youve destroyed with consumerism and materialism. Leave this wise special land to our sustainability. Go to plastic Dubai or something just not all of yous here.

There aint special cheese for everybody. Ok?

  4. …Italy is well known for his degree of corruption and easy access to powdered sugar…
It does help to feel at home then…

  5. As an italian, we need to do a lot more to attract capital in the form of businesses and investments, but getting extra tax revenues and foreign consumption is still a small help to our finances, so I am more than ok with that

  6. Low taxes for the rich but insane high taxes for us who live here every day…..Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏

  7. Whatever the keyword here is Private Capital, if put into motion it can actually generate value creation. Next up: private investments and equity financing. Expect a surge of PE initiatives. People always shout and scream about PE but it can serve a purpose in restructuring businesses, which in our case are run as if we were in the 80's. Also, the same HNIs might want to create their own fund (VC, hedge, PE) to get that capital mobilised. On the other hand to max out gov revenue streams they should made domestic entrepreneurs lives easier…a lot of ppl incorporate abroad especially if they are in the startup stage…

  8. In Italy, according to the most recent figures we have, different social groups pay around 40-50% of their income in taxes, if we include direct and indirect taxes, payroll taxes, income tax, VAT, and so on.
Billionaires, on the other hand, pay 20% of their income in taxes.

  9. When you go to Vegas you realize they have everything Italy has but better. In fact I'd Say the Bellagio or Wynn Or Casesars palace is more Italian than Italy.

  10. Spike real estate prices so high in each country that normal people can’t afford them anymore. Shame to see Italy taking the bite

  11. They like the scenery and lifestyle. So many people around the world is so jealous so they make it more accessible to rich people. People of wealth always get their way more than anyone else, but they also need the middle class to cater to them.

  12. Italiani che si lamentano… siamo più fortunati di quello che pensiamo.
Quando si va all estero si mandano giù tanti di quei rospi che qui diventano un caso… Parlo per esperienza e per esperienze di amici vicini.

Italians that complain and that don't recognize how actually lucky they are…

  13. Trust me, stay in USA, politics supporting home invasions, low salaries for medium class, dangerous cities, maranza… go to Crystal Cove 😂

  14. all you folks, including some complaining Italians, got it all wrong.. you want capital to come into your country.. if your real estate has increased in value, that's a positive thing. Sell and move to one of the many (countless) towns and small cities where real estate is much cheaper. And I found food prices cheap compared to N. America of the UK

  15. focusing on individuals is missing the point when there is on order of 100 trillion USD in tax free offshore accounts which should be what policy makers need to address — nail the root cause not the symptom

  16. Perché la flat tax permette loro di pagare solo 200k euro a prescindere dalla ricchezza posseduta.

  17. the average italian worker must pay the following taxes on his income: 23% up to 28.000 euro earning, 35% from 28.000 euro up to 50.000 euro, 43% from 50.000 euro up to unlimited amount. As you can see we must pay up to 43% of taxes, almost half of our income is stolen by italian governement, and what do we get back? a poor quality healthcare , bad infrastructures, poor school system. Living in Italy is a complete fraud for normal people
