  1. Definitely need more than 3 days in Rome. It is such an iconic city full of history and culture. Recommend you walk more than ride on public transportation. Safe travel.

  2. That Pizza is not a normal made Pizza, it is called Pizza al taglio (litterally Pizza Cut) and it's made in electric hoven. It's not frozen, it's a pizza to go, in Rome, if you don't want a full Pizza.

  3. Yes all true, but please be very careful in Rome and most if not all Italian big cities, as they beautiful they are to visit so extremely dangerous can be…pick pocket robbers, drug addicts everywhere…..believe me prudence is never too much……

  4. I was very lucky to live in Rome for 10 years before moving back to Canada. Now, after so many years, I think back to the wonderful gift my father gave me through his work—the amazing experience and the memories. When I go back to visit my old Italian schoolmates, I feel like I’m coming home, even though I live elsewhere now. Thank you, Rome, and thank you, Dad 😘

  5. I'm Italian, I've eaten carbonara everywhere in Italy. The first carbonara at minute 5 of the video is disgusting. Horrible. I would have sent it back without touching it.

  6. TRUMP, O ALOPRADO E PEDOFILA, ESTÁ LEVANDO OS EUA(INFESTADO DE DROGAS) PARA O BURRACO…… DIOS LOS BENDIGA MADRE TEREZA DE CALCUTA E CARLOS ACUTI, AMEM

  7. poi mi spiegherete che vi ha detto la testa di prendere quella pizza criminale… poi i saltinbocca alla romana con le patate? che c'entrano le patate? Poi l'abbacchio dopo i saltibocca???? Dieta chetogenica? e che cos'è!!! la piadina?? la piadina è Romagnola, non romana…

  8. 2:57 "this is the oldest thing we've ever seen". As an italian who visited Rome many times, I tend to forget how unique and rich of history our cities are. Your marvel reminds me of that. Hope you enjoy your visit!

  9. I viaggi rovinano ogni felicità. Non si può più guardare un edificio qui dopo aver visto l'Italia…Frances Burney…scrittrice 1752-1840

  10. Catacombe di S. Callisto, unusual place for a first time in Rome: good choice.
But there are many unknown and impressive places that you have to visit next time!

  11. Ok,NO 8:08 that is not a croissant,a croissant is a terrible copy of the italian CORNETTO❤ and also have different recipe

  12. Good choice for eating "Spaghetti alla Carbonara" and a "Cacio e Pepe" because you are in the right place but …

    … not for a Pizza!

You want to try a real Pizza a real Neapolitan Pizza? You have to go to Naples!

  13. 11:05 cuz that IS a street food frozen pizza, please avoid places with non italian managment around the centre those are all tourist scam places,a carbonara at 15€ is CRAZY

  14. I am American and have been living in Italy a long time. Seems you missed the Roman Forum which was the central piazza of Roman society (there you would have found the Ara Pacis) . Strange because it is right next to the Colusseum. You also missed Villa Adriana, a bit outside Rome but worth the trip.

  15. This is really well produced! It's always cool to see these places through the eyes of someone who is not used to them

  16. I am from Rome and I can assure you there are much better places in Italy, don't waste your time and money in this useless open air dump with no rules

  17. I'm an Italian born and living in Rome and I always take for granted the rich history of my city. I literally live next to a Roman emperor's villa with also a catacomb below it and I can reach the center of the city with public transport in less than half an hour, a thing that I do often, hanging out with my friends among Roman ruins, medieval buildings and Renaissance churches.

Anyway, by the looks of it, I think you ate mostly at tourist traps (especially the pizza place), I'm sorry about that.

PS: One small correction about the Colosseo. People were executed there (mostly Christians), but the gladiators were killed very rarely, as they were more like wrestlers of the time, it was more of an act or game with people loving specific athletes over others, gladiators dying was mostly accidents.

  18. Welcome to Rome, the "the eternal city" (La citta' eterna)
Now you can understand why Rome is called that

  19. be carefull of the pickpockets, cities like Rome or Paris are full with them, never take too much money with you or your documents.I hope you will enjoy your trip in my country of Italy.

  20. I wish i could be still surprised like the Americans do when they visit Italy. So naif, but genuine as well, just like grown children <3 (Ps: i am from Roma 😀 )
