so he opened up as I was graduating college and I lived at their intersection of Roosevelt and Ashland, which is really down the street from that establishment. I'm headed there this Sunday or Monday.

Holy crap! I went college in Illinois and got a ride to O’Hare Airport from my buddy who was driving home to Chicago. We stopped a Bari Foods and got a sandwich before heading to the airport. It was fantastic. That was more than 25 years ago. I need to go back to Chicago.

Never heard of this place. Chicago is different when it comes to food.. like white and black will show you two different versions of a food tour in the same City. They don’t have the best in the city if someone born n raised never heard of them

If you’re near Chicago you should go to merichkas in joliet for their poor boy sandwich. Best one I’ve ever had, and if you get a side of the house dressing and extra garlic butter it’s the bomb
