When cooking, the alcohol evaporates from the wine (usually after 5 minutes of active boiling/simmering). As a result, only the taste and aroma remain in the dish. Therefore, such sauces are considered safe for children. But! If you want to completely exclude alcohol, then you can easily replace it.
✅ What to replace dry white wine with (150 ml):
1. Chicken broth – 150 ml (will give richness).
2. Vegetable broth – 150 ml (lighter taste).
3. Water + lemon juice – 140 ml water + 10 ml lemon juice (sourness like wine).
4. Apple juice (unsweetened) – 150 ml (soft fruity sourness).
5. Wine vinegar (diluted) – 1 tbsp. vinegar + 145 ml water or broth.
Caloric value per 100 g – 190 kcal.
