I had the honor of meeting Afshin, the world’s shortest man, in his hometown of Bukan in Western Iran. It was honestly one of the coolest experiences of my life.

From the moment I walked in, his family welcomed me like I was one of their own. They were so kind, warm, and hospitable, and I felt the love in their Kurdish home every second we were together.

Despite being less than 2 feet tall, Afshin’s spirit is HUGE. He’s funny, positive, and full of life. Spending time with him reminded me that our size, background, or limits don’t define us — our attitude does.

    There's no such place as Turkish Kurdistan. There's a place called the Republic of Türkiye. We, as Kurds, Turks, Circassians, etc., are citizens of the Republic of Turkey. You can't divide Türkiye into the Kurdistan region. Please pay attention to the sentences or translations you pronounce.

    If you're giving such nonsensical information like "No land in Türkiye belongs to minority ethnic groups, Kurdistan, etc.", don't include Türkiye in it, and don't try to motivate others and give information about things you don't know. This isn't documentary filmmaking, it's stupidity.
