We tried the very good Gio’s Deli in Oxford!

In today’s video, we had multiple suggestions to try Gio’s Deli. We found out that Gio and Ro were are brothers so we knew right away that it had to be good! It runs on their family! We thought Gio’s Del would be an order at the counter and not an actual sit down. Spot. The sit down part was nice, especially on a hot day! Inside, there are so many items around the restaurant. There are wines, vinegars, food, and upfront, big cases full of homemade cheeses, meats, desserts, and whatever else you can think of. Gio is super nice and his family works there and they did a great job! We didn’t know what all to try so he made us a Margherita Pizza, which was stinkin’ good, we tried the giant stuffed meatball, the cheese ravioli, the Gio’s salad, the Caprese sandwich, and the garlic knots. The sandwich was also stinkin’ good but overall everything was great! For dessert, we got the cannoli, the raspberry lemon drop, and the cup of tiramisu and those were fantastic! We were so full when we were done but greatly appreciate some of the treats that Gio gave us. It was a great spot to eat at and we can see why it was suggested so many times. Was just there with a friend and had the pizza and loved it!!!! The selection of different food items is awesome. Service and quality was fabulous. The "Bonus"….if you're into gourmet Ice Cream…is right across the parking lot is a Mystic Ice Cream Store, where they even have alcohol flavored homemade ice cream…Unbelievable taste. Gio's deserves the recognition as it is one of the BEST restaurants in The Villages. Fabulous review guys!!!!!👍🐻

Good video. Wonder how much extra care they put into your meals seeing how they recognized you and made sure you were presumedly treated much differently than other patrons
Wow, our experience was much different from yours. My wife and I went for lunch about four months ago. My ravioli was lukewarm, and the sauce was below average. My wife got spaghetti and meatballs, also lukewarm. Same unremarkable sauce, and the meatballs (3 normal sized) were all meat and no fillers, so not very good. The loaf of French bread that we purchased at the counter was excellent, however.
Either they changed chefs recently, or you guys got lucky. Maybe we will give Gio’s another chance. Thanks!

I ordered sausage, peppers and onions sandwich and antipasto salad….salad didn’t have much on it, sandwich was good though!

Oh, Gio…😂😂if you are YouTuber, or their friend, they will make for you the best meal. My experience wasn’t that good. Meatballs tested like meatloaf and pasta was warm and overcooked. No for me!
Gios deli is our favorite place. We love the sandwiches, fries and salads. We agree it is stinking good 👍 ❤
Gio food is delicious..We used there back room for our Brookly Club women luncheon from vilages…Grouper sandwich my sister loved..Always have a great meal at Gino's..

We have been to Geo's more than a few times…..pizza is good, the Italian market is worth going to, but the sandwiches I ordered at the restaurnt were disappointing. So I just order Pizza or buy products from the market.
Yup, I've been there a couple of times. The salad, the meatball subs, the eggplant parm subs are great! My favorite desert is the Italian Cream Cake. Its more dense but delicious!! It's always busy for a reason. I'll be going again!!
Sorry, not impressed with Gio's. We had lunch there today after watching this video. The Italian Wedding soup was disappointing; very bland. Meatball sandwich and Eggplant Parm sandwich were just ok. Maybe dinner is better? If we do go there again, maybe we'll give the pizza a try.
