    Been there last year and i'll be back there in two weeks. Gorgeous. The Travelmar ferries are the best transport between the towns, as you get a spectacular coastal view from the water and a nice sea breeze while you go, without any traffic hassle. Two cautions: the last ferries of the day go at around 7 PM (be at the pier with time to spare; expect the last ferries to be busier), and the potent Mediterranean sun burns the skin easily (especially with the water reflections added), so don a hat that doesn't easily blow off into the water. Vietri sul Mare (the most eastern town along the Amalfi coast) could also be a "sleeping base" for the coast reconnaissance. It may be less central than the town of Amalfi, but it is the only Amalfi coast town with a railway station (10 minute's ride from nearby Salerno, which is quick to reach from Napoli). Stayed in Vietri last time and booked again this year at the same address. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful views that bring back fond memories and a longing to see it again a.s.a.p.! Your tips are spot-on, it really IS how you showed and described it.

    A most perfect, in depth documentary on the Almafi Coast. Italy is our most favourite country and the Amalfi Coast is an area we’ve not visited. However, my wife’s legs cannot handle the walking nowadays and I’m therefore, afraid we waited too long for a visit.
