In this video, we take you with us to the colorful seaside village of Marzamemi, the stunning baroque town of Noto, and a relaxing afternoon at San Lorenzo Beach and Lido di Noto. We spent a few unforgettable days exploring one of the most beautiful corners of Sicily — and honestly, this area completely won us over. We also got to enjoy a local Sicilian wine tasting in the countryside — definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

    Noto cathedral was several damaged by an earthquake and other seismic shockwaves within few years.

    I wasn't familiar with Marzamemi, and I'm looking forward to your impressions of Modica chocolate. Torino and Modica are the two cities of Italy known for chocolate, and they couldn't be further apart from each other. The flies definitely seemed to be a problem during this segment of your trip. I wonder if a small fan (on the table, or even smaller that Laura can hold) would help to keep them away. They are a nuisance, especially when you are trying to enjoy a nice meal. Everyone who has seen season 2 of "The White Lotus" has at least heard of Noto. It was interesting to get a closer look at it. Thanks!

    We were introduced to Marzamemi by our Italian brother in law. Felt like a super local place. We had lunch in that same plaza. Noto is one of our favorite towns we’ve stayed in in Italy. Glad to see you showcase it. Also, we just came back from a trip to Puglia. I used your video for a lot of info during the planning stages. You guys do a great job.

    You guys really missed out on great food and gelato in marzamemi! The same restaurant you went for lunch/snack apperitivo has GREAT AMAZING FOOD – for dinner – name: Liccamuciula!

    You could also try La Cialoma that in the michelin guide but a bit more expesnive but Liccamuciula is really AMAZING , and ive been through most of sicliy eating everything from finedining all over the island to classic great trattorias and this is really one for the books.

    Could go there any night of the week, also weird that you didnt vist Caffè Sicilia in noto thats world famous even on netflix.
