  1. …''looks like Utah''(speaking about italian cowboys named butteri)… That's not exactly the case though. The tradition of cattle breeding in Maremma can be traced back to the time of the Etruscans and Romans. The fertile plains of Maremma have long been used for agriculture and livestock farming. During the Middle Ages, Maremma was characterized by marshes, woods and plains, which provided ample pastures for livestock. Livestock breeding became a key economic activity during this period.

The challenging terrain and vast grazing areas of Maremma required skilled horsemen to manage the livestock. These horsemen gradually evolved into what we know today as butteri, from latin words ''butoros''. Italy is old gents, very very old 🙂and most of the things the world does, well, we've already done!

  2. Here's more people. If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 The last thing you want before you die is to wish you would have listened.

  3. Had to scroll through the first half, past all the sauteed offal. The deep dive into il Palio was great though, aware of it but never saw footage of the after celebration. Stunning, and what community looks like. Older guys: take note of how Tucci dresses, watch and learn from a master of effortless global style.

  4. As a Tuscan, I opened the video to see which parts of my region Tucci visited, knowing full well that he most likely wouldn't be in my area (my city rarely features in the image of Tuscany, even for Italians). But not only was he there, but the episode opened with my hometown of Carrara (I actually live in Marina di Carrara, 5 km from the city, by the sea). What a delight

  5. As an Italian, I wanna cry … firstly for the beauty in the eyes of this foreigner (Tucci), who elegantly interact with our roots. Secondly for the richness of our local gastronomy and family traditions, which still astonish me in a deeply manner

  6. La bistecca costa molto di più che 100€ al pezzo, quel pezzo sulla gratella, che sarà più di due Kg., al ristorante costerebbe 150/200 euro… ma l'è TANTO BONA!

  7. Born and raised in Tuscany I know I' m really lucky.
Thank you Stanley Tucci for showing the world how amazing Tuscany and the rest of Italy are.

  8. This was fantastic. Thank you for sharing. One really wants to be there. I loved my trip to Italy. It is now a great memory.
