  1. I use to love walking these areas in Baltimore but now if you are brave enough to do it you have to keep your head on a swivel and hope that's enough warning time to avoid getting assaulted or murdered by the "juveniles". So sad that its become a LAWLESS city.

  2. You should come up to Havre de Grace. Gordon Ramsay just filmed a show at MacGregor's restaurant. I think it might have been something like a kitchen nightmares show.

  3. We celebrated my Mom's and her twin sisters 75th in the same room you were in. Also celebrated my Dad's 75th there. Sabatino's and Velleggia's were there favorites and part of my childhood memories. My Dad used to tell a story about me as a very young child, under 5, where he coaxed me to sing Old Sole Mio at the dinner table. Said everyone gotta kick out of it. Miss those days and my Mom & Dad.❤🇮🇹🍝

  4. Went to Sabatino's a couple years ago with my fiance. It wasn't bad but definitely nothing special either.

On the other hand, La Tavola is just wonderful. Food and ambience are top-notch.

  5. Tony man, you have Cafe Gia’s in the thumbnail then you don’t have a segment on Cafe Gia’s. I useter like to take dates there because Gia would always act like she knew me and say nice things about me to my date.

The food is darned good and they always make an effort to get you seated no matter how crowded the place is…

  6. Sab's: so many great memories there.

Always got the bookmaker salad, baked gnocchi, and canoli.

Their filling is superior to that purulent discharge from Vac's even though Sab's uses their shells.

    Sab's and Johns Hopkins: Baltimore.

Vac's does, however, have great pignoli.

  7. Very good video Tony. One thing that sticks out to me is back in the day you had to be dressed up to get into these restaurants. Maybe they more relaxed these days. Been long time since I've ate at these places. When I was a child I ate there alot with my family.

  8. Little Italy family ❤❤ Sabatino's restaurant should always be a stop for anyone visiting. I've been eating there since before I was born, my parents met while working there (back in the 60s) as teenagers. ❤

  9. Sabatino’s double sided garlic bread is to die for so glad you showcased it – everything so goo there – 100% favorite !!!

  10. Thank you. I liked, bookmarked, subscribed, and about to share w/ my two sons here in Towson.

  11. Grew up going to Sabatinos for Family occasions. Amazing food. But today, Osteria Da Amedeo has the best food in Little itally IMO. If you haven't tried that yet, make sure you do!
