Stanley Tucci may primarily be known for his acting ability, but he’s also known for having a true love of food. The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ actor is heading back to his beloved Italy in a new @NatGeo series, ‘Tucci in Italy.’
In this interview Tucci discusses his favorite Italian city to visit, favorite restaurants, what it was like filming his new show and how he keeps his kids’ spirits up while traveling.

I m from Padova near Venice , I travel a lot around 🇮🇹 Italy the most beautiful city are the usual Rome ,Venice ,Florence Verona Palermo Perugia Torino but the town that really impress me is Mantova ,the history is so mesmerising, the Gonzagas and Palazzo Te just incredible ,Mantua it s a must see 👀 Town

The Trentino Alto Adige/South Tirol is an amazing area for skiing, hiking and really great food that is different from the rest of Italy because of the Austro Ungarian influence.

Florence is ok, but there are so many greater cities in Italy, besides, only in Florence did someone try to sneak inti my back pack to pickpocket me, not once, but three times it happened in a week earlier this year. Of course, I never carry anything in easily reached places, but it is distressing nonetheless.

Having lived in Italy for three years, you need to live there to appreciate and understand the cuisine in full.
