Ciao! Great guide!!! Taormina is my favorite place in the world. Do they still have the mummies in Savoca? I agree, I'd also throw in a trip to Mount Etna and Alcantara Gorge while there if time. You can also ride horses on the beach in Giardini Naxos.
What an experience watching this beautiful video. Such detail and informative way to show the town. definitely gonna watch more videos of this channel. Planning to visit Taormina this year or the next. Very helpful.
Is there a public bus from Messina to Taoromina? How often does it run?
Thank you for the detailed and beautiful video! This helped me plan my upcoming visit better!
One or two things to add that might be helpful.
From the UK, seasonal flights to Catania are plentiful from London airports, Manchester, and some regional airports (don’t even think about Palermo if Taormina is your destination).
The bus service from outside the airport terminal to Taormina is fast and efficient and a good option, in fact much better than the train which requires a taxi ride up the mountain to get to the city itself, or getting on the same bus you could have caught at the airport anyway.
The awful mispronunciation of almost every Italian name has spoiled an otherwise lovely video – it’s totally unacceptable and a comedic parody of such a beautiful language; is it some form of mutated AI ?
Thank you for your video it was full of information and beautiful visuals of Taormina 😊
Such a great tips video Alp! My wife & I along with her brother and his wife are taking an Italian cruise in mid June and one of our stops is Messina. I'm renting a car and driving the group to Taormina and the Catania. We're planning on being in Taormina for about 4 hours or so. What highlights do you recommend we do/see/eat during our short time there?
Why did you use an AI narrator? Spoiled the video for me.
I really can't digest this ai crap…
