  1. I can't stand chefs saying "It's that simple" after adding so many ingredients like this. It's arrogant and dismissive of most people's kitchens. Most people won't have 1/3 of this because they're not making gourmet meals every night like this guy does.

Simple is French bread. All-purpose flour, salt, yeast, water. Bake in a butter or flour lined loaf pan at 375f. Done.

    THAT is simple.

  2. To be honest I can think of quite a few ways that are way better than that. He is the master but im also from a country were that is eaten often and im not impressed

  3. so not only do i need all of the olive oil in the world, i found the original national geographic commentator. and honestly, i'm not even mad about it

  4. In the full length video, he literally puts like a liter of olive oil in there to begin with. Then during the cooking process he adds more olive oil, and then to finish it, you guessed it, more olive oil.

  5. The idea that olive oil is a great flavor is bullshit. Make the same thing with no olive oil and tell me the taste difference explain that.

  6. Just cut the olive oil, use vinegar and some mustard and some flour and you got yourself a nice Swabian dish called :Linsen und Spätzle

  7. fun fact, onions are edible and nutritious, try chopping them up and leaving them in the final dish if your not a fan of throwing good food, because despite Marco trying to gas light you, they had so much to give! also a little seasoning in the same way the dead sea has a little seasoning.
