I know it’s a bit unusual but we are all well aware of regional and seasonal adaptation to food combinations. I wanted to share my mom’s simple recipe that she would make for us in the summer by combining pasta, meat, and colorful veggies served on top of strained and creamy yogurt.

Summers were the times when yogurt would become the most served item on the menu. Growing up in a hot region where temperatures frequently hit 100 F, yogurt and yogurt drinks would always be present on the dining table.
Besides marinara, pesto, alfredo, citrus, and many other sauces, pasta can also be tossed or served on top of labneh or creamy and tangy yogurt and it’s so light on the stomach in hot regions.❤️
