Drinking olive oil is not Italian…lol
My hands are shaking while I type this because I used to be that girl…. the one crying over texts left on read, over men who never picked me. Then I found a little book called Make Him Your Pet by Mia Ema Lopez, and it felt like I discovered a forbidden spellbook. I followed just one of her techniques and now the guy who ghosted me is watching my stories, texting nonstop, and asking if I’ve moved on. I haven’t replied. I don’t need to. This book gave me control and the kind I never knew I had. For everyone struggling with dating right now I highly recommend reading it at least once.
I’m crying while writing this because I honestly don’t recognize myself anymore, in the best way possible haha. A month ago I was begging for crumbs from a guy who wouldnt even claim me. Then I found this dark little book called Make Him Your Pet by Mia Ema Lopez and imma be honest, the stuff inside felt almost illegal to read. I read it in one sitting, and something in me snapped. I stopped explaining, stopped chasing, started applying what she teaches, and within days, he came crawling back. This isn’t about being feminine or soft. It’s about finally understanding your power, and using it without mercy. I recommend every woman read it at least once in their life.
I’m literally in disbelief right now. Just 3 weeks ago, I was crying into my pillow over a guy who told me he “wasn’t ready for anything serious”… right after spending the weekend in my bed. I felt humiliated, powerless, like I had no clue how to be the kind of woman men chase. Then I found this dark little book called Make Him Your Pet by Mia Ema Lopez, and the things inside… they felt forbidden. Like knowledge I wasn’t supposed to have. She breaks down the male psyche in ways I’ve never seen. Tactical. Cold. Accurate. I stopped reacting. I became scarce. I followed the playbook and now he’s the one spiraling, sending paragraphs at midnight, asking where I’ve gone. The shift is scary. If you’re tired of being the one who always loses… read it. Trust me on this.
I shouldn’t even be saying this publicly. A few weeks ago, I was stuck in a one-sided situationship, constantly overthinking every text, rereading convos, spiraling over “what did I do wrong?” Then I found Make Him Your Pet by Mia Ema Lopez, and it hit like a truck. The content felt dark, almost like psychological warfare wrapped in red lipstick. She doesn’t teach you how to be loved. She teaches you how to be missed, craved, worshipped. I made a few tiny shifts, and the guy who once made me feel invisible is now terrified of losing me. I don’t chase anymore. I choose. Every woman needs to read this at least once just to know what real power feels like.

So true the United States is the only country that doesn’t understand how to nurture the soul. Italy is so beautiful in every way. I love it there.
And what did you stop doing when you left LA?
We do it in Poland,too😊
Everything is so much simpler and made for us to thrive, than we (westerners) think. Slow, conscious, connected, seasonal living – is what has grown hundreds of generations before us.
I love this! As someone of Italian origin, I really think there’s something powerful about eating in alignment with your cultural or ethnic background—like your body just responds better when it’s connected to its roots.
this is why I fell in love with life in Italy. The Italians get it!
Beautiful advice! Thanks for sharing with the world!!
There is definitely a kind of toxicity to American life. Good for you for moving to Italy, especially from LA. My goodness! LA is possibly one of the most toxic USA cities. You escaped! I love Italy, too. The culture is much slower paced, and seasonal food is healthier. God bless you.
Typically! American! Starting with sincere info om how to … Ending with a commercial. No thanks! I'll manage perfectly without it.
I have heard people with gluten intolerance in the US go to Italy with no issues. Is this true?
Italians are also Catholic — which brings a massive sense of community, tradition, and together-ness. Ditch the lame crystals and go to Holy Mass.
Exactly ! LA = Stress
such an american way of perceiving things…even if you're trying hard not to try so hard, you still somehow do….performers with no culture and awareness at all…
this is such important knowledge ! growing up in Europe, I learned all these things and live by them, but they are definitely not known or practiced in the U.S. Sometimes I get made fun of by friends for eating slow and enjoying every bite, and even when I tell them the benefits of doing this they don't understand or care for it.
