  1. So..this is what the Wall Street Journal is all about ..huh? … did you guys buy a nice bottle of wine (and expensive one) for your colleague Romney as a consolation reward?….

  2. I don't trust such a large collection of vintage wines concentrated in such a small area.. there has been many scandals in the wine world where a lot of these "rare" wines are counterfeits.

If it looks too good to be true, than it most likely is.. in this case either the owners of Hedonism Wines is looking the other way, or they are being swindled. Even counterfeit wines is big business these days, people just pretend it's the real thing. The ultimate "king is wearing no clothes" lesson.

  3. It is people like this (the presenter) which makes the world of wines so fucking boring for everyone. Such a stereotype confirmed here, plumbs falling out of his gout ridden jowls. This is the reason the younger generation are not interested in wines and just drink White Zinfandel and Pinot Grigio

  4. Those large format bottles perched ever so delicately on their display racks would make me so nervous to walk past.

  5. The only bottle of fine wine I ever had was in London. Well, the only bottle that was over $300 . That’s fine to me. I suppose I was privy to a $12,000 bottle at a dinner party in the Hamptons. My glass cost $1200. Wow. A bit above my means
