  1. Thank you so much for this video! I see this question on your Facebook romewise all the time as you mentioned and they are so many different answers that it's confusion. I really appreciate your explanation! It was very helpful 😊😊

  2. I walked around Naples for two weeks with a dummy wallet in my back pocket. I rode a packed train several times too. I still have the wallet.

  3. @Romewise first off I just want to say your channel has been an absolute godsend for planning my upcoming trip to Italy! I was hoping to get some advice from you about something. I’m staying in Florence but taking a 2 day side trip to Rome. I really want to take the Vatican tour you recommended (Sistine Chapel tour with the special hallway access to St. Peter basilica ) but I found out that they are planning on canonizing a new saint 2 days after I’m planning on visiting. They say sometimes they close the hallway during special events but I was wondering if you knew if they would have it closed only the day of the canonization or several days before?

  4. do you need to book timed entries for: brera castello sforzesco capodimonte archaeological museums etc?

  5. We had tickets for the underground Domus next to Trajans column. They would not let me in without my passport, luckily my wife had hers with her so they lets us in even though the tickets were in my name. That was 2018.

  6. So funny. 20 years ago the hotel insisted on keeping our passports. This year we were stopped at a train station, showed a color copy and the police were happy. Sounds like we should carry them next time.

  7. Isn't it ironic as these countries are overrun by illegal immigrants with no identification, travellers who are entering legally have to jump through the hoops.

  8. My idea. I always carry my passport card with me. It’s a passport but not my passport . It’s legal and is used primarily for cruise travel. But it’s a legal USA passport card. Hope this helps.
