Instructions
00:00 Introduction
00:35 Combine all ingredients in a mason jar (if you don’t have a mason jar, combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine with a whisk). Tightly seal lid and shake very well.
04:00 Use immediately or store in the refrigerator until nearly ready to use. Always shake well before serving as ingredients will separate. Note that olive oil may solidify in the fridge, if this happens simply run the jar under warm water or let sit at room temperature until re-liquified.

Notes
Emulsify
The ingredients will naturally separate as they sit, so always shake well before using. If you have an immersion blender, you could use this to blend your ingredients, which will help the dressing stay cohesive.
Storing
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 7-10 days.

  1. Quit buying store bought dressings due to bad seed oils. Have one avocado sour cream recipe I like but this sounds yummy, thanks!

  2. I love a homemade dressing. IN fact I buy very few premade items, because as you stated full of stuff we can't identify. I will definatel give this a try. It sounds great.

  3. maybe try not to work to fast maybe everything won't drop on the bar, just take your time Sam thank you good job ,😉😉

  4. I added my red pepper 'flakes' to a small pepper grinder with easy change grind settings (found the OXO brand is great). That way when I want a hind of heat/spice I can grind it in rather than have big pieces to bite into.

  5. If you coat the inside of your measuring spoon with a light layer oil (or butter – even better) using your finger, your honey, mustard, etc. won’t even think about sticking. Cool video!!!

  6. Hi Sam! It's been a little bit since I dropped in. I always make my own salad dressing. I tend to stick with a balsamic vinaigrette. But this looks interesting, I might give it a try. I had to stop and look at the date that this video was put out, you seem to look so young that I thought it was an old video.

  7. This is almost exactly like My Favorite Dressing on my channel! I always have it on hand and I’ve never had anybody say they didn’t like it (we have dinner guests very often). I, too, like using honey in mine. Lovely video!
