Pole Beans are a very under used green bean. Meaty and flavorful, it is one of my favorites. A green bean that one should consider growing as they are not the easiest to find unless you have an ethnic market close by. Blanched, then stewed in San Marzano Tomatoes with onion, garlic and a hint of cinnamon, these are a wonderful side to just about any dish you can imagine. Vegetarian and Vegan too! 99% naturally, fat free, they are great for any diet.
Give them a try and see if they don’t become a family favorite!
