Visit Burano, Venice, as an Italy day trip and part your itinerary to the perfect 48 hours in Venice. The Venetian Island of Burano is about an hour’s boat ride from Venice. Today, we’re taking a day trip from Venice to Burano, one of the most colorful islands in Italy, and exploring how to spend the perfect 48 hours in Venice! In this video, we’ll also treat ourselves to lunch at the Michelin Star restaurant Al Gatto Nero, one of my favorite restaurants in Venice. We loved spending time in Burano, and if you’re wondering if Burano is worth a visit, watch this video to see why it’s a must when in Venice for more than 24 hours. If you’re undecided about visiting Murano or Burano, I highly recommend Burano. In Burano, you’ll find a charming, colorful village with the best food in Venice. Burano is famous for its colorful houses and risotto. The houses in Burano are colorful for the fishermen to find their home in the fog after returning from fishing.

About WHERE TO NAU
===============================

Where to Nau began as a blog where I could share my travels and adventures with the world. I love photography, traveling, writing, and scrapbooking, so blogging became my new millennial way of expression. I’m always on the hunt for unique and secluded places around the world. Join me!

On my website, you’ll find complete itineraries, recommendations of the best places to eat (from street food to upscale dining), and exclusive hotel reviews of locations worth checking out. I also have a lifestyle/ wellness section for self-care and self-improvement.

A background in modeling and acting has led to working with brands as a lifestyle model and content creator for social media, print, and publication. If you’re a brand reading this, Let’s work together!

Leave a comment with any future video ideas you’d like to see about NYC, and if you’ve visited before, let me know what you like and dislike about the city that never sleeps. I’m personally obsessed with my city, NYC!

About NAUREEN CHHIPA
===============================

I was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in Miami with roots that go across the globe to Pakistan (that’s where my wanderlust nature comes from.) I travel the world part-time while juggling my passion for acting in NYC, my home. I also work as a lifestyle/print model, freelance travel writer, and social media content creator/brand ambassador. When I’m not acting or traveling, you can find me blogging and sharing secrets of my travel adventures, so stay tuned! You can also follow my live stories on IG @wheretonau

I believe in balance, so I travel frugal yet splurge for a day or two. I believe in embracing different cultures and learning from them; that’s how I personally grow as an actor. I believe in finding your tribe, so I’m constantly adapting to change, growing, and evolving. Being multiracial, bilingual, traveling the world, and living in the melting pot that NYC is, my goal is to inspire women minorities everywhere to never settle and always follow their dreams.

  1. How am I just seeing this?! Might need to unsubscribe then resubscribe to kick the algorithm in the butt. Such a gorgeous and colorful place. Perfect for the camera!

  2. While the risotto at Al Getto Nero is one of the best things I've ever eaten I can tell you it is NOT made with béchamel sauce, how do I know? We were invited into the kitchen to watch the chef make an order. The risotto is made with a unique fish stock made from the gobby fish from the lagoon and nothing else. Yes it is amazing risotto, just not made with bechamel.
