Great story of a magnificent wine!
I'm glad Italian producers broke beyond the DOCG classifications and innovated so much, giving us Tignanello, Sassicaia, Solaia, Ornellaia, Masseto, L'Apparita, etc. More reason why too much regulation in wine isn't good.
