Once the wine has come of age inside the oak barrels, it is time to rack the wine out of the barrels, and back into glass, in preparation for BOTTLING, (Part 11). The wine can be bottled directly from the barrels, but I prefer to rack the wine a third time. Helping me prepare the bottles, and washing out the barrels is my father, Joseph, and my son, Joseph. It seems appropriate that this video was posted on what would have been my Paternal Grandfather Alfonso’s 108th birthday.
