Wow! Two Italian Wine Dinners the week of June 9.
Yes, we are at the mercy of when they are in San Diego – each are here from Italy for just one day.
On Monday, June 9, we have the wines of Tommasi Estate just outside the city of Verona.
Tommasi founded in 1902 is one of the absolute leaders of Amarone – a truly classic style of Italian wine.
We have Paride Nardotto, who has been with Tommasi for 10+ years, is here to lead this dinner. We will be enjoying the cusine of the Verona region (thanks Chef Denice!) while we enjoy 5 great Tommasi wines.

Then on Wednesday, June 11, we have Angela Maculan here – owner of Maculan Estate which is located in a gorgeous and historic part of the region of Veneto.
Maculan Winery was founded in 1947 by Giovanni Maculan. The winery has been family-owned for three generations, with Angela and her sister now leading the estate.
Angela herself will be here in San Diego for this special visit. Her estate is located in the historic village of Breganze, founded in 9000 BC – the late Bronze Age (!!).
