0:38 – Liguria Bakery uses commercial ovens. "In August 2023, a fire originating from a crack in the century-old oven caused significant damage, rendering it inoperable." San Francisco Chronicle. The oldest brick oven in San Francisco is at Tommaso's Ristorante Italiano.

  2. OMG, I am sitting here with my baggies, ps king them up in my suitcase, for our two week trip to south Florida! Hilarious! I would not be without them for a trip! That focaccia bread looks amazing! Glad you shared this awesome video of San Francisco with us! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. Part two, please! Anything S.F. Is always welcomed!!! That Margherita pizza with the added sausage crumbles looks amazing, too! (I canโ€™t resist sausage, when it is crumbled like that!). Margherita pizza is my fave, but sausage crumbles would absolutely have been added to mine, too! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. Yes, Part 2. And please visit Tony Pizza Napoletana , a go to place for me to meet up with friends. Many varieties of pizza to try, many are award winning and so delicious.

  5. Love ur video n that gourmet sandwich looks awesome-loved ur very clear closeup on it! Makes me want to go to SF just to try it!

  6. Yes Please to Part Two!! Coming from an Italian family we always try the little Italian delis and get whatever the house special sandwich is!! Itโ€™s never the same, but always delicious. Our all-time favorite was at Bonelliโ€˜s in Wildwood New Jersey, which has since closed down sadly, but it was very similar to the one you were at in this episode. Hugs from Florida, Cindy.

  7. 9. First time viewer to your vlog, and am enjoying it! I grew up in North Beach in the '50s and '60s. Went to Hancock Elementary, Francisco Jr. High, and Galileo (go Lions!). Liguria is one of my stops whenever I'm back in town now. They are my yardstick for focaccia. I love their pizza (just pasta sauce, really) and the mushroom. They close when they sell out–sometimes as early as 11:3012:00 during the holidays, so get there early! Molinari is good, but next time, try the sandwiches at Palermo II Deli on Green St. Their sandwiches put Molinari's to shame, with 2x-3x the meat, plus all the regular garnishes. It's a hole in the wall run by two Italian brothers, and they may not have the wide variety of other deli offerings (salads, etc.) as Molinari's, but what they have are just as fresh. Most people go there for their large selection of delicious, overly generous portions of sandwiches. And, they're less expensive than Molinari's. It's worth a stop.

  10. Bill and Lisa. San Francisco is da bomb. Looking forward to North Beach part 2. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

  11. This is bringing back so many memories from my childhood
Growing up in San Diego's Little Italy reminds me of Mona Lisa's sandwiches.

  12. Hi, I came across ur video because it said u were in my city. I'm glad you had an amazing time here and the food you had looked so yummy. I love my city. I was born and raised here.
