Pasta Aglio e Olio Recipe

‎Ingredients:

‎200g spaghetti

‎5 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

‎1/2 tsp red chili flakes (adjust to taste)

‎1/4 cup olive oil (extra virgin preferred)

‎Salt (to taste)

‎Freshly chopped parsley (optional)

‎Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

‎Pasta water (as needed)




‎Instructions:

‎1. Cook the Spaghetti:

‎Boil a large pot of salted water.

‎Add spaghetti and cook until al dente (firm to the bite).

‎Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.



‎2. Prepare the Garlic Oil:

‎In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

‎Add sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown and fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

‎Add chili flakes and stir briefly.



‎3. Combine Pasta and Sauce:

‎Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan.

‎Pour in a bit of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.

‎Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated and glossy.



‎4. Serve:

‎Garnish with chopped parsley and Parmesan if desired.
