Hey family!!! Today we are sharing a Budget Friendly Meals video with y’all! I’ve done What’s For Dinner Videos in the past, but I really like to show the ho to, and the cost of meals. That’s hard to do with seven full days, so we’re gonna break it down to two or three meals! I’ll show y’all how to make the dinners, how long it takes, and how much it costs per meal, and per person. All recipes below!

Skillet Pork Chops:

Ingredients
6 pork loin or rib chops, 1 inch thick (1 1/2 lb)
1/4 cup beef flavored broth or chicken broth
4 medium potatoes, cut into fourths
4 small carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
4 medium onions, cut into fourths SAVE $
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Spray 12-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Cook pork in skillet about 5 minutes, turning once, until brown.

Add broth, potatoes, carrots and onions to skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender and pork is slightly pink when cut near bone.

Baked Ziti With Italian Sausage:

Ingredients
12 ounces uncooked ziti pasta
3-4 bacon, diced
1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
(1-lb.) package ground Italian sausage
1 cup chicken or beef broth
1 (28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup firmly packed torn fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoons dried crushed red pepper
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 (8-oz.) package shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Vegetable cooking spray
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare ziti according to package directions for al dente.

Step 2
Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes. Add onion and garlic, and sauté 3 minutes or until onion is tender. Add sausage, and sauté 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Add broth, and cook 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and next 3 ingredients. Reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes.

Step 3
Stir ricotta and 1 cup mozzarella cheese into hot cooked pasta. Lightly grease a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Transfer pasta mixture to prepared dish, and top with sausage mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese.

Step 4
Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
