Now y’all know this is Nonna Lucia’s home town. We have some very unique recipes only found in the region. Scrapelli (which means shoe) is a simple crepe soup , stuffed & fried green olives, toddalucci fig cookies & a cheesy Easter bread made with saffron. The Piazza Popoli rivals any in Italy. It’s truly special and I thank you for featuring the area.
