  1. Because of timezones and the international dateline, Alaska's Aleutian Islands extend far enough west that they're in the Eastern Hemisphere; making Alaska the northernmost, westernmost, and easternmost U.S. State.

  2. I'm from Israel and the water in the red sea is blue but in the evening It's red dummy look in the evening

  3. About Icelands other name the s is possesive, meaning it belongs to "Gardar", so Gardars Holmur, not Sholmur.

  4. the country called "America" does not exist!!! FFS – when are you yanks going to stop using this term? America refers to all the Americas and all the people in the Americas. Find another name to call your Cultist, gun-loving, un-democratic prison of morons!

  5. One of the stories I have heard for the name of Buffalo, is that French Explorers called the Niagara River "Beau Fleuve", meaning Pretty or Beautiful River. English speaking settlers mangled it to 'Bowfleuve' with it eventually becoming "Buffalo".

  6. What is your native language? Your pronunciation of Montenegro was much more impressive than papal. I've always heard it pronounced with a long a sound in the first syllable, schwa in the second. (I wonder how the Quebecois pronounce choix?)

  7. Saying that "the mess started with European colonialism" seems a highly inaccurate and unnecessarily inflammatory phrase when considering that the tribal leaders in the area couldn't figure out how to get along either. There is enough blame for all to share.

  8. Either I'm smart or everyone else is dumb more. I keeo seeing videos like this and i know almost all of their facts.

  9. I eventually just stopped the video. If you're going to go to the trouble of writing a script and recording it, why drown it out with completely unnecessary music?

  10. Alaska was actually leased to the United States for 100 years. At least according to Russians. I have never seen the document myself.

  11. Sorry, but it wasn't John Cabot who explored for the British Crown. It was Giovanni Cabotto, an Italian. The name was Anglicized.
