Christie Brinkley is considered one of the most iconic faces in fashion, having graced over 500 magazine covers in her career. But the 65-year-old has proven that her image – and interests – go beyond the pages of a fashion spread, as she was seen arriving to the set of Good Day New York on Wednesday to promote her alcohol brand Bellissima. Brinkley, who launched Bellissima back in 2016, was seen carrying two bottles from the brand’s collection of spritzers, BellaSprizz. All eyes, however, were on her skintight leather slacks which she wore with confidence. Even though she is technically a senior citizen, the star looked half her age.And she made the leather slacks look perfect on her thanks to her very fit legs and flat tummy.Brinkley added green faux fur coat styled with a muted green sweater. The supermodel showcased a youthful glow as she made her way into the Good Day New York set. She rocked her go-to soft glam makeup look, which featured a flattering smokey eye and a swipe of pink lip gloss. Her signature blonde locks appeared effortlessly voluminous, as her loose tendrils cascaded down and around her shoulders. She slipped her feet into a pair of heeled suede boots that gave her look a Western flair in conjunction with her large buckled belt. The CoverGirl’s hands were occupied by two bottles of BellaFizz aperitifs, which she brought to the show to promote – and share. In 2016, Brinkley collaborated with alcohol giant Iconic Brands to establish her own range of wines. Brinkley emphasized that she wanted to create a line of sparkling wines that originated from only organic grapes and were devoid of copious amounts of sugar. The Bellissima website states that the wine’s grapes are grown in Treviso, Italy and carry a ‘floral aroma; due to the soil being immersed with a ‘white limestone originating from the river Piave.’After the success of the sparkling line launch, Brinkley and Iconic Brands would go on to create BellaSprizz in 2018. BellaSprizz expanded from wines to provide customers with a range of aperitif cocktails. The brand offers two flavors, Elderflower and Classic, and can be purchased in alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties. In 2019, the Bella Sprizz Elderflower Aperitif was awarded a gold medal during the PR%F Design Distinction Competition.Even with all the success from her alcohol ventures, Brinkley will always been remembered for her impact on the modeling world. Just last week, the supermodel shared a throwback photo of herself from the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine in 1977.Against a purple background, a then 23-year-old Brinkley modeled a high-cut purple bikini, with a ruched center bottoms and a string tying at her belly button. ‘In 1977 this bathing suit caused a stir! At the time all the bikinis were low slung on the hip,’ she wrote. ‘This high leg cut made the hip a new erogenous zone.
