It depends: cheap red wine is way worse than a normal beer. But unfiltered beer is definetly top tier in my opinion.

Depends on the wine. I drank some spectacular wine but regular red wine is not for me. I live where they make Barbera and it is too strong for me. I prefer a lambrusco amabile, thank you very much. Moscato is delicious though.
