I love the Wineking channel, but I would say that I miss the tastings he was doing with Peter. Updates were more frequent, and content was more interesting to me.
He has a big following, so I am sure others disagree and love the more recent content.
Here's why I don't like Wineking: it's not honest. I've never seen Peter make a mistake when naming a wine tasted blind. Baed on a long experience in the wine world, that is simply not possible. Every professional, from master on down, makes mistakes when blind tasting. In fact they make mistakes constantly. It's part of the beauty of wine. So it is clear to me that they are never actually tasting the wines blind and that this has been going on pretty much since the beginning. I love the humor and the preaching about fake wines (even if I don't always agree with their taste) but I don't like the cheating.
I really like wineking. But very little happening with them now. I wonder why. There used to be a lot of very educational and interessting blind wine tastings. And Peter is a very skilled experienced taster. I also love their humor. This is the first youtube wine channel i started to follow.
My favorite thing from wineking is how they compare “bad” wines with quality wines. I put bad in quotations since people have individual preferences, but the critiques are so helpful
Yep I came across WineKing and then also found you and Konstantin Baum. I don't really like the current Wineking content. The content I liked the most is when they give very detailed notes on how they determine what a wine might be. They talk you through it really well. Plus the genuine reactions to bad wines and great wines.
Used to be great content at WineKing, and the channel was what got me into watching these types of videos. Peter and Jay are both very likeable and funny people, and have great chemistry together. And while Peter and that other British guy were the mentors, Jay is now also very knowledgeable and an adept taster. But now it seems the premium material produced is for paying subscribers only? Miss the channel how it was…
I love Wineking, I’ve been a sub on their channel longer than I’ve been on yours. I like the chemistry between the guys, they are highly educated, knowledgeable, and hilarious. I’ve followed their recommendations often. I think you need a similar sidekick to banter back n forth with, keep up the good work 👍🏼
Amazing channel, I wonder what happened to the backyard tastings with Peter and Patrick, thats what I liked about the channel and have re watched those videos multiple times.
Without Peter Koff and Patrick there is no channel. Jay himself really isn´t interesting!

I never drank a bottle of bourbon barrel aged cab, but it was that video shown explicitly i believe as to why i never bothered to pick one up.
Wineking is just all good vibes and energy. Dude speaks 8 diff languages and can switch on command. His dad was a fisherman so you know he comes from humble beginnings
You forgot to mention that Listan Blanco is identical to Palomino Fino, no wonder they share similarities!
Also, there is an error in the description. It links to the Vidonia from Suertes, but the wine youre tasting seems to be the Vidonia V.P.
