  1. I'd have to give it to the normals and AI, because while Ben may be a chef, the AI "knew" not to put wet ingredients like tomato directly next to the bread (especially the bottom piece of bread), as it'll become soggy and an unpleasant eating experience….you always use your lettuce or other leafy greens (or cheese) as a shield between the bread and the wet ingredients. Ben's sandwich will be tasty at first (though I disagree with putting egg salad on a club sandwich, but that's a local culture thing more than anything else), but by the time you're getting into the second half the bottom will be a soggy mess that'll be a pain to eat without inadvertently wearing it.

  2. Obviously the Chef wins, but clearly pleasantly surprised by the utility that the AI gave medium to good cooks. An utterly new cook, a student first time cooking for themselves would struggle to prompt the correct questions, but that could be somewhat offset again with maybe a chef or decent cooks writing good instructions for custom gpt's, like an more indepth contekst that they created at the begining of the video. Like there are already custom gpt's that cater to your level, dietary restrictions, if you want to meal prep, caloric goals, etc, would be interesting if Ben could prompt a custom one to take in some of his knowledge and traits to maybe have a video of Ebbers vs "AiEbbers" and have no one know who made what to see who they think tastes like the real one.

  3. This was amazing! Thanks for the good laugh! I want to see Mike get angry at ChatGPT in another video soon!

  4. Something you might not realize: the LLM that you talk to and the specialized routines that generate images are not as closely linked as you might think. The fact that extra ingredients appear in the image is not surprising. It's not that ChatGPT forgot to mention them, it's that ChatGPT didn't even know about them (until you ask about it, at which point it will roll with it and pretend that was part of the plan all along).

  5. Fellas, fyi that was butter lettuce, or what we in the U.S. sometimes call Boston lettuce, not romaine. It is not crunchy like romaine–the two lettuces are about as far apart in texture as you can get.

  6. I was crying my eyes out watching and listening the AI roast you guys in between instructions. 😂 🤣

  7. Ebbers still doesnt have a clear grasp on AI it could do all the things it says it cant planning, provenience all they would have to do is tell it were they are at ask it to use season and local ingrediance with what is in your fridge and show it a picture of your fridge. Prolly better than Ebbers. the only time he would have an advantage and i dont even know if this is true is if he made a whole new thing that a chef has never posted on the internet about and even then i am not sure. I think we were lied to on what they have trained off of i think its way more invasive like they let there AI train off of all the cameras and microphones on all the devices we own. They wouldnt just let all that info go to waist. the other thing i dont think people realize is the number one thing these have trained on is entertainment so if i had to guess one of the first industries to go will be youtube creators.

  8. Can we get some more data ? Like how much time did both of the dishes take ? How times ai was needed to be corrected…. Stuff like this.

  9. I prefer the look of the chat gbt version. Less bread. If Ebbers had used the same bread it would have been much more appealing for me 😊

  10. Boys one I’m afraid, the egg mayo looked really cool but by itself…. Unfortunately you both fell fowl of the skyscraper sandwich. If it can’t fit in my mouth in one bite then I can’t stand it, same with a burger “make burgers/sandwiches wider not taller”

  11. I will say, as an American, that the AI Sandwich was much closer to what I think of as a "Club Sandwich." Ben's is very Chefy, but not what I'd call a Club Sandwich. Most Club Sandwiches I've had were on more traditional square bread, cut into quarters with toothpicks in each one, put point facing up, with the space in the middle filled with French Fries. And all Club Sandwiches have Streaky Bacon.

  12. Mike losing his patience with the Chat had me crying but then I'm thinking, Mike u just wait til ur daughter gets older 😂😂😂😂😂 x

  13. i would go for the sandwich normals made. If you cant stick it into your mouth it is not a sandwich. i hate high stack burgers and sandwiches. they are impossible to eat. theirs had the proper height.

  14. Oh man, this sucks. ChatGPT is a theft machine, actively plagiarizes work from people and has significant environmental impact. It doesn't matter if you MENTION the environmental impact in the video when you're actively contributing to using it! Truly thought y'all were better than this but anything for the clicks huh.
