Since it’s Travel Tuesday I’m continuing my content of our trip to Cancun with Davino Italian Cuisine. Davino is located at Villa del Palmar Cancun.
This restaurant is hard to get in. I recommend booking prior to arrival. That’s what we did.
Here’s what we tried:
* Crispy Fried Squid
* Mussels Alle Vongole
* Don Pepperoni Pizza
* Fish and Polenta Chips (elegant plating)
* Lombardy Lamb
* Fettuccine Carbonara
Overall the food was just ok. There were a few items that were a hit. The Crispy Fried Squid with the tomato aioli. Superb!
Also the Chocolate brownie dessert and the tiramisu was incredible.
The service was pretty good. The restaurant itself was pretty. Love that they had a live band. Really nice. It’s also located closer to the beach than the other restaurant. Amazing views!!
