CAGLIARI, ITALY – In today’s video, I’m sharing a full day of eating in Sardinia, the island where I was born and where my family still lives. This What I Eat in a Day in Sardinia is all about traditional Sardinian food, sweet pastries, a birthday celebration, and a cosy homemade lunch with my family!
I started the day with a typical Italian breakfast in a pasticceria with my sister. Then we picked up my sister’s birthday cake and had lunch at Le Palmette, a beautiful seaside restaurant in Cagliari, where I tried a classic fregola with seafood and ended the meal with a slice of cake.
Although I had to skip dinner (spoiler: I got sick!), the next day we made a full Sardinian lunch at home with my family – culurgiones, polpette al sugo, and sebadas, a traditional Sardinian dessert.
If you’re curious about what people eat in Sardinia, or you’re planning a trip to Cagliari, I hope this gives you a real taste of local life.
Let me know which dish you’d love to try from this video, and don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe for more Italian food, Sardinian recipes and travel content! 🇮🇹🍝
