The Majestic Princess is back in service after a two-week drydock in Italy, and it has received a range of new dining, shopping, and entertainment upgrades.

    Good Morning Doug Parker! Happy Thursday. Hope you have an amazing day my friend. I’m glad none of the cruise lines have altered itineraries for those Bahamas 🇧🇸 ports. That would be very problematic I’m sure as Nassau is on so many and there are only so many destinations. And having sat on the beach and watched those jet ski rides, I am scared to death to even consider such an adventure – no way. I &love hearing about the ship dry dock updates. Love all pics that you post for your Patreon members too. Always enlightening. Wow! 9 feet thick ice!!!! 25K horsepower!!!! The passengers were just chilling and taking classes and learning while the stuck & get unstuck was going on. Scaredy cat me would have been somewhere praying and repenting lol. I’m glad the ships captain and crew can help facilitate calm to avoid a ship full of high-wired Keshia’s. lol. Thanks for the updates Doug! Have a blessed and beautiful day. ✌🏾🛳️🥰

    I wonder if these warnings are really justified? We’ve wondered around the Nassau downtown area outside of the port compound many times with never a problem except for discovering that my wife is a “Pretty Lady” according to the straw market vendors 🤣 cheers!

    Was just in both ports last week. Had no interest in getting off the ship in either port. Major brush fire in Freeport.

    I'm a big believer cruisers should, as the warning says, 'exercise caution' at every port. No different than if you go to New York City, Los Angeles or… heck, these days, outside your home!

    Gee whiz… Honestly, when I was in Nassau last fall, it seemed everyone was polite. I'm not surprised about Freeport, since that's a dump, but Nassau?

    We have no desire to go where it's COLD. If we're cruising, it will be where it's warm weather. If we want cold, we can stay home. There's another video about the gangs in Nassau. Just 2 blocks from the docks, is where the bad area is.

    The Bahamas has put at Level 2 since Jan 2024. All that was done was add some matter-of-fact verbiage. BTW, if a firearm is found on a cruise passenger arriving in a port like the Bahamas, I think the cruise lines should be subject to major sanctions for failing to detect the firearm at the US embarkation port. It's not TSA doing the checking – it's the cruise line private security. It's 100% unacceptable that passengers can sneak (or 'inadvertently' carry a firearm) on a cruise ship.
