AND we're working hard to get our beer into pubs/bars across the UK – so if you have any contacts who can help us with that, drop us an email using the link on our channel page!! 🍻💪
I had to pause the video for about a full minute at 8:01 so I could turn away and laugh until I was wheezing and my eyes had filled with tears. Every single time I think y'all can't get any more maniacal, you raise the bar even further. Keep the good food vids and the laughs coming, gang!
Fantastic April Fools joke, 2% beer, ha!
Kush and I have similar beer tastes
There was a missed bennuendo there at 14:30 😂
2.5% is like non-alcoholic beer. I'm so used to beer being 6% and higher in the cooler at the store and session beers being at around 4%.
I really liked this format, but as fun as the game aspect was, I think it would probably be better if you let them re-rank officially at the end.
I love how smug both Ben and Kush were in this episode 😂
This was an awesome format. Mind games, banter and just mates being mates. So good.
This book called Forbidden Chef Secrets surprised me how it goes deep into cooking methods I never learned on YouTube. It’s actually made cooking fun again for me.
I have to say, this might be the first video I couldn't finish of yours. I found it boring.
How was Ben's #2 just an ad?
Ranking before they have all the items makes no sense.
That induction hob is my clearn #1 – by a mile.
More!!
As I am someone who does not drink alcohol the list is a lot easier for me. 1: Iduction Hob (I don't have one and I desperately want one.) 2: The knife 3: Chicken Powder 4 Mushroom Powder
More kush and spaf please
Fun game! Next time allow adjustment of ranking on board, but only one move.
Here in America, you have a Double IPA craft beer and it's easily 10-11%ABV
So did ya'll forget to finish the video? What is the point in ranking each other's favorites unless you tell us what was right and wrong? Don't get me wrong, I still liked the content, but it is missing the most important part.
I want the recipe for Kush's Long Island Iced Coffee…
Oooo you guys need to do a home big appliance recommendations video!
Just may be convincing but that all in smile of Kush’s is quite special. I enjoy his commitment to enjoying the moment
hope you don't lose that puck for the HOB
My mom bought an induction hob cooker and it's awesome — I'm totally sold on it and will be getting one.
You can sharpen a serrated knife with regular old sandpaper
$1,700 for an induction is beyond crazy. Paying that much to not be able to use a wok properly or char vegetables inside properly is pretty insane.
2.5% ABV Beer makes me sad in my Canadian heart
A critic is someone who is prematurely disappointed.
that wine should rather be a product of pretentious or not
lol what a joke/scam. Really? Ben's favorite food is their own beer? Yeah, okay.
Kush “got his wife” – Rude Barry! @SortedFood, teach that man that women are not property!
I need that hob in my life.
Please same thing but for the normals 🎉😂
If I'm being honest, I feel this should have been marked as an advertisement.
I have mushroom, bonito flake, and chicken powder seasonings in my cupboard. They are amazing in everything from eggs, stir fries, marinade, sauce, and of course soup both Eastern and Western cuisines.
Kush should make some shorts 🤣
FYI, “yeast extract” (autolyzed or hydrolyzed) is one of America’s MSG freak out era byproducts and buzzwords… it is mostly used FOR its free glutamic acid content and they heap it into food to get enough though it’s other components do make it have a more complex funky, snack-suited flavor than just Ajinomoto white powder (along with modified corn starch/maltodextrin that break down very similarly and cause the same effects in varying degrees, the most obvious/high concentration common sources, kombu seaweed extract and hydrolyzed soy protein and some other hydrolyzed vegetable proteins, free glutamic acid sources that are mostly lab creations).
It isn’t particularly significant to most people, but for those whose bodies respond to it intensely, it is good knowledge to have since no one wants the food they serve to make someone be bowled over in pain or hiding under a pillow. The worst culprits are “no msg added” instant noodles and snack foods that add everything they can throw in to get the same effect on the one eating it without the stigma/with the ability to up the price. The amount in stock is generally not too bad. I’ve had Cambodian bone soup that is pure bliss and for a giant 25 gallon stockpot (I could possibly have half my body cooked in one they are so big), they add under a tablespoon of MSG total, only enough to enhance, not dominate over, (I ended up, as I specialize in neurocognitive disorders including autism, fairly rare genetic, and birth defect-related conditions, becoming secondarily specialized in nutrition and taught med and nursing school students courses in it for a few years (it was already my first approach to every patient through med school and beyond whether they were there for my department, cardiology, or anything else)… some people get migraines or even seizures triggered by them though the latter are rare. Several of my autistic patients would have behavioral and emotional changes from foods with them, so we had to remove everything with ingredients that break down similarly or have a significant amount of free “straight to the brain” glutamic acid, MSG causing quite a lot with neurological conditions to get intense stomach cramps, bad headaches, and nausea.
Sorry to ramble. It’s 11pm where I am watching from. I do love mushroom powders though I get them from a place that forages mushrooms and dries plenty for the farmers market… and Trader Joe’s has a pretty nice mushroom powder, too, with herbs and probably salt though I like controlling my salt separately. I also get much easier porcini mushrooms from the farmers market to make my favorite stock with… nothing compares to them, and even the sandiest ones needing triple filtration after they steep are well worth it! Damnit I am hungry now.
"Mushroom tacos?! Why aren't you making us Mushroom tacos?!" My thoughts exactly. I might try to make some this week because that sounds absolutely delicious!
