While we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to Middle Eastern cuisine in Manchester, North African is a little harder to come by.

Luckily, we’ve been alerted to a neighbourhood spot called Red Marrakech that does ‘ridiculously good’ tagines – and loads more besides. What a place. And you won’t find it on social media either.

  4. I live in London and have went to this restaurant almost 8 years ago ,and still can not foratget the delicious dish . amazing.

  5. food is good but the owner is a thief almost always try to obey charge. You must double check prices for individual item and total to avoid him over charging.

  6. You should go to the eighth day cafe in Manchester City centre. It’s a fully vegan cafe but the quality and quantity of food for the price is excellent, especially for that area. It’s an independent workers cooperative that has been going for over 50 years. The head chef Surinder is an amazing cook that can create an unreal amount of dishes from all around the world.

  7. Unfortunately no phone number 😕
The chef said if you want to avoid disappointment to prebook. Since I'm miles away, I must prebook but couldn't find the phone number. I was hoping you film the outside of the shop where we can see some info like the phone number …
B.T.W. first time here subscribed and liked 👍.

  8. really good food 10/10, the only thing I would say you should call them in advance that you are coming because you could be waiting a long while to have your food on table

  9. Couscous eith vegies and chickpeas is to me the best dish there is! I would love to visit them one day. 🧆

  10. As a Moroccan hospitality is something well rooted in our culture & life, whenever i was a child my father & mother always honoured their guests, it’s a way of pleasing Allah. The prophet peace be upon him said: whosoever believes in Allah and the last day, let him honour his guest.

  11. I got so hungry watching this and then I lost my appetite when my stomach knew it wasn't having the lamb tagine

  12. As a Morrocan, I want to visit this restaurant to try all these delicious dishes
oh wait I am still living in Morroco
    what a blessing 😅😅

  13. Moroccan, Algerian, Tunisian, Libyan…not the same but it's not any different, all Amazigh heritage and unique to the region, of course, nobody can deny south european, sahel, west african, and middle eastern influence but the main culture that keeps evolving is native which upsets a lot of pan arabist bots but yeah.
