This video is different. The renovation of my lounge starts with insulating my open aspect roof from the inside. The foam insulation panels and foil blanket make a big difference and so I decide to fully insulate the room where I installed the new picture window. In time I will insulate the bedroom in the same way. The other rooms may not need so much insulation, but we shall see when I get to that part of the project. I also clear out some old wiring and electrics to get ready to rewire and set out first fix.
Property hunters or those interested in Italian property that is for sale may enjoy the exclusive viewing that I was invited to. I was lucky to be allowed to film this house and share it with you all. This gives you a view inside a great property that needs renovating. Its location is perfect with spectacular views over Corinaldo in Le Marche. The sun sets here will be beautiful. With the land that comes with the house, this will make someone a dream home and dream project to work on. All in the area they are calling ‘the new Tuscany’.
Back to my renovation and materials are in short supply so I am hunting for the things that I need. My new car holds more than the previous one, which should come in handy as I need to buy a lot more.
This was filmed one week before editing and publishing which is the closest to real time as I have been so far. The feedback on the previous video was very much appreciates and I thank you all for your support as I get deeper into this renovation and adventure that is to build a dream life and lifestyle in Italy.

Hahahaha i am really that guy. Save it and when needed. I know I have this somewhere. Can't find it. Buy it in de shop and store the spear parts. 2 weeks later you're find te spot where you left the ones you saved. I really do enjoy you content.
I just had a mini split installed, it has 5 settings, heat, air con, dehumid, fan and one more that I cant remember. Extremely cost efficient. Wall mounts close to the ceiling so not in the way of furniture, pictures, or drapes.
As for that house – absolutely loved it.
The new wheels, did I miss something, comments are saying Merc??? I thought it was a Porsche Cayenne in the end???

G'day Richard, might I suggest the use of heat pumps instead of electric radiators. They supply the same heat for one-third of the electricity.

That house has a great view! With underpinning etc, I woud expect it would cost 200k to bring up to date. With the land etc, a nice opportunity. New build today costs quite a bit more (I know, I did a demolish and rebuild). Notice any difference in temperature when you insulated the ceiling? Looking forward to the next chapter. Mini trip for me, this coming weekend and again at Easter. Wish I had the opportunity to work from there!
