4:12 That ain't Calamansi, Max. ๐ญ๐ญ
I really hope you make a "history of kare kare" video, the most I know of it is that it came from the Indian immigrants- I would love to hear an indepth video about it :)) also Kare kare is hellla good and you deserve to try it
Add a little bit more water so the pancit noodles wonโt be so dry
And thanks for sharing the history of this dish . Appreciate it ๐๐ต๐ญ
Don't feel bad Max about having a small carajay, not everyone can have a big one.
Sir I really love your YouTube show but I just have been wondering, why is it that you do recipes from all over the world except for Africa? I would really like to see some western, southern, or east African recipes. You know it's a stereotype that Africa doesn't have food LOL
I didn't see the soy sauce mixed with the pancit….
Don't fry with plastic utensils ๐ซ
In my line of work, there's a stereotype for the one coworker who is Filipina and treats the other coworkers like her little ducklings and like she's the mom of the bunch, ensuring everyone eats and has a break and everything, including bringing an exorbitant amount of pancit to the break room, often. I have never tried pancit, because while not allergic, I don't like seafood (unless it's super basic like tuna or salmon).
Hi, Max. Avid Rizal hater/critic here. He wasn't strictly a proponent of independence but more of social reform. Was pleasantly surprised to see that can of worms nearly being opened in a video about pancit. Unintentional pun at 13:18 also made me giggle
You should know this really good pancit called ticnap notnac big bro
Make some ticnap notnac big bro!!
> "El Filibusterismo is too complicated to get into in this YouTube video"
Man, colleges dedicate a whole SEMESTER of Philippine Literature Class to just Rizal's books
kudos on using Lorins Patis. it's the OG Patis/fish sauce brand in the Philippines.
Man, you should've squeezed the Kalamansi juice onto the pancit. It will give it another layer of flavor. I'm not sure if it will match your pallet but that's the flavor that we Filipinos enjoy. Nevertheless, great content as ever. Now I know why pancit plays such a huge role in every Filipino celebration and its rich cultural significance.
If you ever need help translating recipes from Spanish, let me know! Would be glad to help!
Chinese cuisine has influenced so many cultures because of the diaspora. Makes me think of a noodle dish that is considered Korean but has roots in china Jajangmyeon. Would love to see you make it one of these days and go over the history.
What???

15:30 So the Philippines had hooters long before America.
