Great video, thank you!
Interesting. I am not really a white wine drinker, but I think I might have to try a chateauneuf blanc someday ^_^
You broke 30k! Congratulations.
Northern Rhone immediately came to mind before I even saw which regions you chose. They produce some gorgeous, albeit pretty expensive, white wines.
16:34 Halloween vibes right here 🫣
To guard rare Vitis Vinifera variety . Is ok to grow in hothouse even in Latvia
I had two wines poured to a group of sommeliers blind – Vina Gravonia by R. Lopez de Heredia and oxidised Puligny Montrachet by Domaine Leflaive. Both wines were branded faulty. Funny as one of them was deliberately made this way. When I told that one of these wines is meant to be oxidative in style, the group pointed at sample #2 (Pouligny) as a better example of the style for its refreshing acidity, complexity and longer
finish. Nothing is what it seems.
Yes Agnese 🎉 your assessment and advice ❤ is spot on once again!
Niepoort has amazing dry white PX wines as well.
Lovely selection, definitely will try as many as available 🎉
You are a real treasure…. Love your videos and an added bonus, you’re easy on the eyes 👀
Good to know! Nice wine options and regions to discover! I will think about you when I’m in Italy , not in Tuscany but in Valdobbiadene drinking Prosecco 😊
The Dao.
Piemonte/barolo was worth mentioning as well. I had amazing timorasso from vietti and borgogno. And nescetta from rivetto is also very good.
I moved to Portugal (the Minho region) last October. In addition to its many many other charms, Portugal’s indigenous castas have been a constant source of interest, joy, and surprise. The whites from various regions have absolutely been the biggest revelations. Well, that and certain wines from Bairrada made from Baga, which seem to combine the best aspects of Pinot noir and Nebbiolo. Those have been eye opening too!
Rabigato is a great grape!
Excellent video! Whites are definitely making a comeback. I just bought a bottle of Ad Libitum. I was going to let it settle for a while but after seeing it on your video, I guess it won’t last much longer 🙂
Great choices and info. Duoro was a surprise to me when it comes to whites. thank you.
How about a ''serotonine'' t-shirt, for a change ? LOL ! I like it when my Dopamine levels get very ''High'' though , very much so. Thanks to You 🤩🤩🤩
Nice tips. I'd like to add Roero Arneis, from Piedmont
So glad you discussed Vermentino, I love this grape and really enjoy making wine from it here in Northeast Victoria Australia. It has such a unique fragrance and flavour profile. Delicious.
Great Video! In the northern Rhône, Saint-Péray is as well a white appellation and it can be great!
Is it the Maturana Blanca from the producer Viña Ijalba you wanted to have in your video?
She seems like a really happy animated passionate person you can tell she’s really passionate about wine she is entertaining to watch best of luck with your channel cheers 🥂
I am a fan of the white blends from the southern Rhone. Some top producers make delicious blends of the same varietals found in CdP Blanc from grapes grown outside the CdP appelation at really affordable prices. A few producers in Paso Robles, CA also make blends of white Rhone varietals that are outstanding. Agnese, I love your videos; because when you taste your facial expressions often convey even more than your words. And go on vacation. Someplace warm. After a winter in Riga, you deserve it.
wow your such a natural infront of the camera, love the graciousness and flare! You can really feel your passion and love for wine, another epic video 😊
I love CVNE Monopole, its such a unique wine, i have a bunch in my cellars
